Algae are a vital part of the water ecosystem. This is why LG Sonic ultrasound technology reduces algae growth up to 90%. The sound waves prevent an algal species to form a bloom. Making it a long-term solution for a healthy ecosystem.

How LG Sonic ultrasound works

Ultrasound is a proven ecological solution for algae growth. LG Sonic has perfected the effectiveness by integrating real-time data. Allowing to target specific algal species.

1. Create a sound barrier

LG Sonic ultrasound creates a sound barrier in the top layer of the water which affects the buoyancy of the algae.

This fixes the algae in the water column and prevents to absorb sunlight for photosynthesis.

2. Lack of light and nutrients

Due to a lack of sunlight and nutrients, the algae cells sink to the deeper and darker layers of the water column. Here they are not able to photosynthesise.

Therefore, algae are no longer capable of growing further.

3. Control algae growth

The algae will die while the cell wall remains intact, preventing the release of toxins from the algae into the water.

The algae will sink to the bottom of the water reservoir and are degraded by the bacteria present.
