HOW DOES IT WORK?
2Grow is a sensor technology that allows real-time plant feedback through direct plant measurement tools. Finding how the plant truly reacts to all impacts and following this real-time, opens up extraordinary potential for growth efficiency.
The sensors measure the reaction to changes of climate conditions and plant manipulations. This can be installed throughout the whole growing season. Suitable for herbaceous (tomato, cucumber, peppers etc.) or woody plants (grapevines etc.). Both indoor and outdoor use is possible.
Wireless nodes collect plant and climate data and forwards them to a base station.

WHAT IS PHYTOSTEM?
This product range has a sapflow sensor and a diameter sensor.
The sapflow sensor measures the amount of sap and nutrients flowing through the plant at the time of measurement. Through these measurements, the activity of the plant can be visualized, which creates insights into the plant evaporation and how climate influences have an effect on plant activity.
The diameter sensor measures the variation in vascular tissue and the thickness of the stem in micrometers. This gives an indication of the vegetative/generative state of the plant, the recovery of the plant and therefore the distribution of sugars. In addition, stress can be clearly visualized.
With our new leaf thickness sensor and micro-stem diameter sensor we can monitor smaller plant species or bigger plants from the moment they are cultivated. These include real-time temperature corrections for optimal accuracy.
Multiple clip sensors available depending on the needs of the customer, from 0-6mm stem thickness.
Our nodes receive the data from the sensors. This data is then send in real-time to our services through the mobile network. Algorithms make the data interpretable and present it readable on all your devices. No need for additional infrastructure, truly ‘plug and play’.
